Falmec S.p.a., with registered office in Via dell'Artigianato, 42 - 31029 Vittorio Veneto (TV), that can be contacted at info@falmec.com as the Data Controller of the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as “Falmec” or "Data Controller") issues this policy to the Data Subject in compliance with the European and Italian regulations on the protection of personal data.

Purpose and legal basis of the processing

The Data Controller processes personal data for different purposes:

to respond to requests sent through this form, for example to obtain information on their products or services, to get a quote, etc. The legal basis is the execution of the preliminary agreement procedure established at the request of the Data Subject;
to use the e-mail address to transmit commercial communications containing information on their products or services, as well as promotions or invitations to events in which the Data Controller will participate (for Marketing purposes). The legal basis is the execution of the pre-contractual action taken at the request of the Data Subject.

Data retention period

The Data Controller will process the data for 'Information Request' purposes for the time deemed strictly necessary to respond to the requests received, while it will process the data for 'Marketing' purposes for 24 months from the last communication; the Data Subject may withdraw consent at any time.

Nature of the provision of data and consequences in case of refusal

The provision of data is necessary for the purpose of requesting information, and without it the Data Controller will not be able to respond to the Data Subject. The provision for Marketing purposes is however optional, and in the absence thereof, Falmec shall not send any marketing communications.

Categories of recipients

The Data Controller intends to disclose the data to internal persons authorised to process them by reason of their respective tasks, as well as to professionals or service companies (including those of an IT nature), as well as to public and private bodies, including following inspections and audits.

If these recipients process data on behalf of the Data Controller, they will be appointed as data processors by means of a contract.

Transfer of the data to a third country and/or international organisation

Personal data will not be transferred either to non-European third-party countries or to international organisations.

Rights of the data subjects

The Data Subject has the right to separately ask the Data Controller to access their personal data and to rectify it if it is inaccurate, to delete it or limit its processing if the conditions are met, to object to its processing for legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller, as well as to obtain the portability of the data personally provided only if it is subject to automated processing based on consent or contract. The Data Subject also has the right to withdraw the consent given for the purposes of processing that require such consent, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the time of withdrawal.
