The two areas have been designed to be used as an open-plan space or in complete privacy, thanks to an elegant door made of steel and ribbed glass with a pleated effect.
The latter is a classic architectural style from the '30s, which became popular in the '50s and is now a trend in interior design.
Inside the flat, the kitchen flows seamlessly into the living area, where deep green tones dominate all surfaces – particularly the rectified porcelain tiles – creating striking reflections in the natural light streaming in from outside.

Beside the cooking area, a small peninsula provides additional space for preparing meals or for informal moments of conviviality.
The lighting is fully integrated into the false ceiling, which is also green, almost as if to envelop the space in an intimate atmosphere.

From the kitchen, the view extends towards the open-plan living area, the heart of the home, which also reflects the rest of the vintage décor, clearly evident in details such as the brass chandelier hanging above the rectangular wooden table, the elegant velvet-upholstered chairs, an example of Italian modernist design, and an Art Déco burl wood sideboard that serves as a display surface for decorative objects as well as providing storage space.
Each piece of decor tells a story and represents a family heritage, dating back to the early 20th century and then restored by local craftsmen for this project.
A wall covered in wallpaper makes the room feel even more spacious. It features a black-and-white tropical forest, creating a striking colour contrast with the rich green of the other surfaces, whilst maintaining the harmony of forms that inspires the décor of the entire flat.
