PRIVACY POLICY

The companies:

Falmec S.p.a., with registered office in Via dell'artigianato 42 - 31029 Vittorio Veneto (TV), which can be contacted at the email address info@falmec.com (hereinafter “Falmec”);
Falmec Kitchen Appliance Limited, with registered office at 72 London Rd, St Albans AL1 1NS, United Kingdom, which can be contacted at the email address info@falmec.uk (hereinafter “Falmec UK”);

as separate and autonomous controllers of the processing of personal data (hereinafter jointly referred to as “Data Controllers”), issue this policy to the Data Subject in compliance with European and Member State regulations on the protection of personal data.

Purpose and legal basis of the processing

For its own purposes, Falmec intends to:

Use the email address to send commercial communications containing information on products or services, as well as promotions or invitations to events it will participate in (“Marketing” purposes). The legal basis is the consent of the Data Subject.

For its own purposes, Falmec UK intends to:

Respond to requests submitted through this form, e.g. to obtain information on products or services, to get a quotation or other (“Information request” purposes). The legal basis is the execution of the pre-contractual action taken at the request of the Data Subject.

Data retention period

Falmec will process the data for 24 months from the last communication, but the Data Subject may withdraw consent at any time. Falmec UK will process the data for the time strictly necessary to respond to any requests received.

Nature of the provision of data and consequences in the event of refusal

The provision of data is necessary for the purpose of requesting information, and without it Falmec UK will not be able to respond to the Data Subject. The provision for marketing purposes is however optional, and in the absence thereof Falmec shall not send any marketing communications.

Recipient categories

The Data Controllers intend to disclose the data to internal persons authorised to process them by reason of their respective tasks, as well as to professionals or service companies (including those of an IT nature), as well as to public and private bodies, including following inspections and audits. If these recipients process data on behalf of the Data Controller, they will be appointed as data processors by means of a contract.

Transfer of the data to a third country and/or international organisation

The personal data shall be processed in the United Kingdom – the country where Falmec UK is based – for the Information Request purposes. For the Marketing purposes, the data shall be processed within the European Economic Area.

Rights of the data subjects

The Data Subject has the right to separately ask the Data Controllers to access their personal data and to rectify them if they are inaccurate, to delete them or limit their processing if the conditions are met, to object to their processing for legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controllers, as well as to obtain the portability of the data personally provided only if they are subject to automated processing based on consent or contract. The Data Subject also the right to withdraw the consent given for the purposes of processing that require such consent, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the time of withdrawal.
