Spazio, the innovative hood designed by
Francesco Lucchese, convinced the jury of international professionals who, since 3 editions, gather to decree the winners of the
Archiproducts Design Award.
The essential characteristics to transform a simple product into a winner are
innovation, functionality and of course
aesthetics. Spazio has satisfied the jury in all these aspects, overcoming the traditional concept of hood in the kitchen and presenting itself instead as a real piece of furniture: electrical appliance and smart furniture, designed to use in the best way possible the space on the island and offer a greater
practicality during kitchen activities.
The 180 cm island supporting structure, in fact, consists of comfortable smoked glass shelves to
store crockery or any other useful object in the kitchen, a channel equipped with
hooks for the organization of the tools and a
LED lighting system that illuminates the worktop extensively. In addition, the hood is equipped with new accessories such as
USB sockets, tablet holder and a
green area dedicated to growing indoor plants, equipped with a special light that stimulates their growth.
The filtering apparatus incorporates
Circle.Tech technology patented by Falmec, which combines suction and filtering in a single body, equipped with
Carbon.Zeo filters. The latter retain odors with twice the efficiency of the classic recirculation solutions, thanks to the combination of active charcoal and zeolite, ideal for the absorption of organic compounds and water vapor.
