The jury of the Archiproducts Design Awards has once again named its winners from among the best in the Design field, during the awards ceremony held in Milan at the exclusive Superstudio Più event location. The award, which celebrated its 10th edition this year, was created to reward the synergy between designers and brands, based on evaluation criteria such as innovation, originality and sustainability among 800 entries in 14 different categories: furniture, kitchen, bathroom, outdoor, lighting, office, contract, wellness, decoration, construction, tech&lifestyle, components&materials, and finishes.
Over the past 10 years, the ADAs have provided a snapshot of the transformation of international design over time, establishing themselves as an opportunity for creative expression.
Three trophies were awarded, as in previous editions: a sculpture inspired by the Möbius strip for the brand award, created by De Castelli based on a design by MUT Design; a monolithic trophy in natural stone for the designer award, designed by Michael Anastassiades and inspired by the ADA logo; and finally, a sculptural object in cedar wood for the sustainability award, produced in collaboration with Riva 1920 and designed by AMDL CIRCLE, led by Michele De Lucchi.
Within this prestigious context, Falmec is honoured by the recognition that enhances the brand every year (thanks to Spazio, Light, Monolith, Jolie, Brera, Brooklyn) and by the attention given to Level Invisible, the new downdraft extractor hood that disappears from view thanks to the upper panel, which can be customised with the same material as the worktop.
Falmec designed this solution primarily for its own sales channel, but with a constant focus on the final customer's needs.
On the one hand, high-end kitchen manufacturers and, on the other, people's constant need to make cooking spaces become their personal space have led to this production direction, which is proving to be effective.
The panel was presented at the product launch with an anthracite grey gres -porcelain stoneware finish with white veins, a trendy design with a high-quality textured effect, chosen for its resistance to scratches, stains and impacts, as well as its ease of cleaning.
Level Invisible lifts with a touch of the hand, and a simple gesture is all it takes to adjust the suction thanks to the touch control panel with 3 speeds + boost located on the front. Available in a 90 cm size, it is made of satin-finish aluminium and smoked glass, embellished with a dynamic LED strip light.
Finally, thanks to Dialogue System technology, Level Invisible can be driven directly from a Falmec induction hob, via an integrated touch control and wireless radio frequency connection for intuitive and synchronised use.
