Falmec rakes up
Good Design Awards, one of the most important industrial design prize assigned by the Chicago Athenaeum and promoted by the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. This award is given to the most
innovative products of the year, which will be then permanently exhibited at the Chicago Athenaeum.
Good Design Award has been created in Chicago in 1950 and the jury, made of
professionals and experts, considers innovation, aesthetics, materials, construction, concept, function, utility and sustainability as criteria to choose the winners.
Falmec has gained three prizes thanks to its hoods Dama, Materia and Oceano.
Dama and
Materia, both
Circle.Tech models, have allured the jury with the elegance and modernity of their shapes, with the revolutionary filtering system which uses space
horizontally rather then vertically and with the use of precious materials coherent with the latest interior design trends.
Oceano E.ion, the most recent
E.ion model, has conquered an award thanks to its minimalistic and linear aesthetics and to the ionizing technology which grants high performances in air purifying.
As awarded by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design.
